Hi All

One of our friend's mom works at Common Wheel Community Bike Shop and they are offering LEEC kiddos free bikes!

What is available:
Approximately 50 bikes (children's) 12 and 16 inch wheels- Boys & Girls

Pickup Location: Common Wheel Community Bike Shop- Open hours 2-6 on Tuesday or Thursday and 11-3 on Saturday.

How to get one- Email Madeline- Madeline@ldcc.org- the following: Boy or Girl, Size of Bike, Pickup Day & Time (THIS WEEK)- All families who request a bike are required to pick it up during the time you selected.

If you have more than one child you may put in the request for more than one but there is no guarantee!

News Flash Winter Weather Advisory:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THURSDAY TO 8 AM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Adams, York and Lancaster Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 AM Thursday to 8 AM EST Friday. A brief shot of snow and sleet will move in from the south during the morning then turn to a mixed bag of precipitation. The heaviest period of precipitation will be during the daylight hours. The precipitation will probably turn to rain overnight. The precipitation may end as a second brief period of snow early Friday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in difficult travel conditions, including during the evening commute on Thursday. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

There was recently a vehicle accident in front of the center. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but Queen Street is currently blocked off to vehicles. Please enter our parking lot behind the building from Beaver Street and walk to the front entrance for pick-up. Any questions can be directed to 717-392-7413 ext. 202.
